Who it’s for: Girls 5–14, all experience levels
Focus: Bridges, Backbends, & Kick Overs
Format: 90‑minute small‑group clinic
Investment: $59 per girl
Coach Ratio: 1:6 or better
We also offer a separate Handstands & Cartwheels Clinic right before this on the same day
1. Warm‑Up & Confidence Builder
Fun, fast warm‑up and games so girls feel relaxed and brave.
2. Shape & Safety Basics
Coaches teach the correct shapes for bridges and backbends, what “safe” feels like, and how to exit without fear.
3. Skill Stations (Handstands & Cartwheels)
Girls rotate through stations for:
Wall and floor bridges
Spotted backbends
Rocking and pushing in bridge for strength
Kickover progressions (from raised surfaces, then floor)
Early back walkover drills for girls who are ready
4. Challenge & Celebrate
We finish with age‑appropriate challenges (best strong bridge, bravest backbend, first kickover, etc.) and celebrate every girl’s win. Parents can watch the last 10 minutes to see her progress.
5. Take‑Home Plan
She leaves with a simple practice card so you both know what to do at home.
Learn safe bridge and backbend technique to protect her back and neck
Build the shoulder, back, and leg strength needed for controlled bending skills
Practice pushing up to a bridge by herself (or refining it if she already can)
Work toward backbend kickovers and, when appropriate, beginning back walkovers
Learn how to fall safely and come out of a backbend without panic
Take home 3–5 “Backbend at Home” drills to keep progressing safely
Girls who are nervous about going upside down
Girls who can kind of do a handstand/cartwheel but want them stronger and cleaner
Rec or team girls who need more focused reps than they get in class
Busy families who want a big technique jump in one afternoon
This 90‑minute clinic is designed to help girls 5–14 build the strength, flexibility, and confidence they need for beautiful, safe bridges, backbends, and kickovers. In one focused session, she’ll learn proper technique, safe progressions, and simple at‑home drills so she can keep improving without fear.

By the end of the Bridges, Backbends & Kickovers Clinic, your daughter will:

Spots are limited and first‑come, first‑served.
Cancellations 7+ days before the clinic: full credit toward a future StrongGirls clinic.
Within 7 days (illness/emergency): if we can fill your spot from the waitlist, we’ll credit you toward a future clinic.
